You will find a welcoming atmosphere at Amble House Guest House, a totally non-smoking Victorian guest house quietly situated only a few minutes walk to the centre of town and a 10-minute stroll to the shores of our magical Lake Derwentwater - the 'Queen of the Lakes' - and the Theatre by the Lake.

We have a range of different sized en-suite rooms, with showers, toilets and wash basins. All the rooms are tastefully decorated in plain muted colours with co-ordinating bed linen and soft furnishings; cleanliness and comfort being a priority! As you would expect from an award winning house, our rooms are fully equipped and have that something extra too!
